This is a vintage Cook-Troughton-Simms microscope. It Is a fairly elaborate instrument and is in good condition. The microscope is sold as not in working condition. The microscope stands 34cm high. Please note the bottom speciman glass is not with.

Cooke, Troughton & Simms was a British instrument-making firm formed in York in 1922 by the merger of T. Cooke & Sons and Troughton & Simms.
The company produced a range of precision microscopes and survey equipment including theodolites and it manufactured one of the first usable interference microscopes.
