This absolutely stunning and substantial antique solid Stinkwood kidney-shaped panelled front ball and claw kist with brass embellishments is completely lined in a green felt and has a removable shelf below the lid. The top of the lid has designer brass scrolls and there are substantial solid brass handles on either side and a brass locking latch on the front.
The kist is in beautiful condition for its age and has minimal/ normal age and usage related wear and tear. There has been a mend to the one foot The kist has wonderful weight to it and sits firmly on the ground.
