This wonderful antique Victorian hallmarked sterling silver engraved brooch is a lovely find and measures 4.5cm long x 2cm high. The brooch has the letter F on the front of it and has leaves on the sides. The brooch weighs 3g.
The brooch has the following hallmarks: The W L makers mark confirming it was made by William Light Silversmith, the anchor assay mark confirming it was made in Birmingham, the lion passant confirming it is British sterling silver (925) and the date letter mark a confirming it was made in 1900.
