
This awesome and exceptionally rare antique (1762) Irish hallmarked sterling silver serving spoon measures 23cm long x 4.6cm across the bowl. The serving spoon is hallmarked as follows: The makers mark is unidentifiable, the crowned Hibernian (crowned harp) Assay mark and standard mark confirming the spoon was made in Dublin and is sterling silver (925) as well as the date letter "O" confirming the spoon was made in 1762. The serving spoon weighs a very decent 58g. This is truly a rare find and considering this spoon is 259 years old, it is in incredible condition with absolute minimal age related wear and tear.
