This incredible set of five rare Royal Rhodesian Air Force and RRAF associated Crests mounted on Teak wood plaques include:
1) RAF Near East Air Force Crest Plaque - Awarded to No. 5 Squadron RRAG (Royal Rhodesian Air Force) for Medium Level Bombing - Near East Air Force Bombing Competition 1963. (17.5cm long x 2cm wide x 30.5cm high) - Extremely rare
2) Royal Rhodesian Air Force Crest (with Crown) (late 1960's). (13cm long x 2cm wide x 18.5cm high)
3) Rhodesian Air Force Crest. (15cm long x 2cm wide x 20cm high)
4) Rhodesian Air Force No. 2 Squadron Crest. (15cm long x 2cm wide x 20cm high)
5) Rhodesian Air Force No. 5 Squadron Crest. (15cm long x 2cm wide x 20cm high)
The crests are a combination of solid enamelled brass and hand painted resin. The Near East Air Force Crest has a crack in it as shown in the pics. Rhodesian war memorabilia is rare and very collectable all over the world.
