This ultra-rare antique Royal Albert Bone China teacup and saucer duo in the gorgeous "Torquay" (Yellow) pattern was only manufactured between 1927 and 1935. The pattern is the second version which ran in conjunction with the first version in the same years. The pattern is classified as ultra rare and there are very few pieces available on the internet. The cup is in the Malvern shape. The teacup measures 11cm long including handle x 8.5cm wide x 8cm high and the saucer is 14cm across. The cup and saucer does not have any chips or cracks and there is normal age related wear and tear. There is a little tarnishing of the gold gilt. Based on the rarity of this pattern, it would be worth sending the duo in for a professional clean. We have six duo's on offer; you can take one or all six if you like.
