This stylish vintage (c1970's) cedar lined German made sterling silver table cigar box measures 16cm long x 12.5cm wide x 2.5cm high and weighs a decent 520g.
The cigar box is stamped sterling silver 925 and has the makers stamp of Frans Johann Junior of Germany. Frans Johann Junior specialised in the manufacture of cigar boxes and his classic modern designs were highly prized. He also made heavily ornate cigar and cigarette boxes, vesta cases and pill boxes.
The cigarette box has normal age and usage related wear and tear as shown in the pics, but it is still a stunning modern-classic German made sterling silver cigar box.
