The Kiewiet Serving plank is perfect to serve your cheese, meats, tapas, bread or anything you can imagine. The planks/staves used to hang in red wine to give the wine an Oak flavor. It has a dark design made from the red wine stained Oak.
Each serving plank is handcrafted from the reclaimed Oak wine staves that has been discarded by the wine industry in Stellenbosch. Each piece is unique, reflecting the natural grain of the oak wood. As these are handcrafted boards dimensions and weight may differ slightly from board to board.
All our serving planks are treated with olive oil, ensuring that no water or contamination can penetrate the wood.
