These are designed as a separate section to be inserted next to the gas griller. It can also be completely removed for cleaning and maintenance. It comes standard with a removable ashdrawer and ash lid. Other items of standard equipment are a height adjustable grid and potjie arm.

This versatile insert braai fits empty wall openings with minimal effort and no major disruption, letting you enjoy the best of both worlds: authentic wood/charcoal flavour on one side and convenient gas grilling on the other for steaks, boerewors, veggies, or quick brekkie.

Like the classic Home Fires Table Braai range, it protects brickwork from heat corrosion, collects ashes efficiently, and offers 3 adjustable grid height settings – perfect for searing high, roasting low, or cooking balanced in the middle. The Model 1200 is great for patios, townhouses, or space-saving entertainment areas. It can be fully removed from combo boxes for thorough cleaning or used standalone as a freestanding countertop braai.

Standard construction uses durable 3mm mild steel with black heat-resistant paint (price for mild steel only), with special-order upgrades available to 3CR12 steel, 430 stainless steel, or 304 stainless steel for enhanced rust resistance and longevity, especially in Cape Town's coastal climate.
