The Home Fires Freestanding Braai can be installed with or without the stand. Without the stand, it can be installed as a freestanding braai that is mounted on top of a level slab or countertop. Its sophisticated design suites a variety of entertainment areas as well.

These units are manufactured from A-grade materials, with the design featuring a door that doubles as an extra work surface. A potjie hook and various options of grids, steak plates, bread ovens, pizza ovens, and rotisseries can serve a variety of entertainment and braai needs. The log box stand can be used for wood storage and extra utensil storage space as well. The Home Fires Freestanding braai is also available on special order as a full gas braai option.

With various options on extra accessories, you can cook almost anything! Stir-fries, traditional potjie kos, smoked fish, spit roasts, lamb kebab skewers, or traditional steak and chops can be cooked on your Home Fires freestanding braai.

Every braai is manufactured in South Africa and comes with a 15-year limited structural warranty on the outer braai body and seam joint – specifically against warping, buckling, and splitting (excludes rust).

This robust braai can stand on its own in the garden or on a terrace. The 1 000-mm and 1 200-mm braais include ember makers that are suspended in the middle of the braai. This separation creates 2 grill zones on either end of the ember maker, allowing you to simultaneously cook food on different temperatures. The units also feature cooking drawers that can be used to prepare side dishes or to keep already cooked food at temperature. An optional clip-on upper door can be added for protection from the weather as well.
